Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information we collect from visitors to www.onan.com.tr, how we use it and what rights you have. It covers both the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, for visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

Identity and contact details you give us in the demo and contact forms: name, email, phone number, company or property name.
Details of your request: your message, the product you are interested in, number of rooms.
Technical data: IP address, browser information, date and time of the visit (server logs and, only with your consent, Google Analytics).

Why we use it and on what legal basis

To answer your demo, quote and support requests (steps prior to entering into a contract — KVKK Art. 5/2-c, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
To contact you and follow up on your request (legitimate interest — KVKK Art. 5/2-f, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
To keep the website secure and to protect the forms against spam (legitimate interest).
To measure visits with Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies (consent — GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
To meet our legal obligations (KVKK Art. 5/2-ç, GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)).

Information you give us in the forms is used only to respond to your request. It is not added to marketing lists without your permission and is never sold to third parties.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for session and form security. Google Analytics cookies are used only if you allow them in the cookie banner; you can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page.

Sharing and international transfers

Your data is shared only as far as the service requires with our email delivery provider (Brevo), web analytics provider (Google Analytics) and hosting provider. Some of these providers may store data outside Türkiye or the EEA; such transfers are made under KVKK Art. 9 and, where GDPR applies, under appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

The WhatsApp button on the site opens the WhatsApp app; conversations there are subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

Form data is kept for 2 years after your request is closed; server and analytics records for 26 months. After that it is deleted or anonymized.

Your rights

You can ask whether we process your personal data, request a copy of it, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing based on legitimate interest, withdraw your consent at any time, and (under GDPR) request restriction of processing or data portability. Under KVKK you can also ask which third parties your data was transferred to and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing. Send your request to farika@onan.com.tr; we reply within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority or, if you are in the EEA or the UK, to your local data protection authority.
