What is Half Board (HB)?

Half Board (HB) is a board type in which the rate includes accommodation, breakfast and one main meal, usually dinner.
Drinks are generally not included in half board and are charged separately. Some hotels also offer lunch instead of dinner.
For Turkish accommodation tax purposes, meals served together with an overnight stay are also included in the tax base.
