What is Room Status (OOO, OOS)?
Turkish: Oda Durumları
Room status shows a room's current cleaning and sales condition: occupied, vacant clean, vacant dirty, inspected, OOO (out of order, cannot be sold) or OOS (out of service, temporarily unavailable).
An OOO (Out of Order) room is taken off sale because of renovation or a serious defect and is deducted from the number of rooms available. OOS (Out of Service) means the room is unavailable for a short time for minor maintenance; it usually does not affect the number of rooms available.
Accurate room statuses ensure both that the front desk assigns rooms correctly and that occupancy statistics are accurate.
