What is Early Check-in and Late Check-out?

Early check-in lets a guest into the room before the standard check-in time, and late check-out lets the guest stay in the room after the standard check-out time. Hotels offer them free of charge, for a fee, or subject to availability.
The common practice in Turkey is 2:00 PM check-in and 12:00 noon check-out. Because early check-ins and late check-outs directly affect the housekeeping cleaning schedule, they require coordination between the front desk and housekeeping.
Late check-out is a good upselling opportunity; many hotels charge a half-day or hourly rate.
