What is Revenue Management?
Turkish: Gelir Yönetimi
Revenue management is the practice of maximizing hotel revenue by selling the right room to the right guest, at the right time, through the right channel, at the right price.
Revenue management uses historical sales data, the pace of forward bookings (pickup), demand forecasts and competitor rates to set prices and selling rules.
Even in small hotels the basics make a big difference: applying minimum stays on peak dates, adjusting rates to last-minute demand and reducing dependence on high-commission channels are among the most important.
In Zeus PMS
In Zeus PMS, rate plans, selling restrictions and the occupancy forecast are kept in the same system; rate changes are pushed to sales channels through the channel manager integration.
