What is Minimum Length of Stay (MinLOS)?

Minimum length of stay (MinLOS) is a selling restriction that sets the minimum number of nights a reservation must have on specific dates.
During peak periods, one-night bookings can leave single empty nights between two busy dates that are hard to sell. For example, setting a 3-night minimum stay for a holiday week increases both occupancy and average length of stay.
MinLOS is usually applied by arrival date and is sent to all sales channels through the channel manager.
